We are delighted to announce that the CCPC will be launching Ireland’s Global Money Week (17-23 March 2025) in Croke Park Dublin on the morning of 12 March 2025.
This event will recognise the financial education activities of participating GMW organisations and celebrate financial literacy projects completed by students from a number of post primary schools as part of the Our Money, Our Future programme. This programme provided sponsorship for post-primary schools and Youthreach Centres.
CCPC have provided BSTAI with the following information:
- The CCPC will have a dedicated GMW 2025 landing page on its website during Global Money Week. This will be the hub for Ireland’s GMW activities.
- Considering the theme of GMW 2025 – “Think before you follow, wise money tomorrow” – the CCPC will each day have a sub theme on its landing page that feeds into the overall theme. See this Infographic for detail, along with this pdf ‘Exploring Global Money Week Theme 2025’ that you may find useful for activities, events etc.
- Please note that you do not have to strictly adhere to this theme – The slogan ‘Learn. Save. Earn’ might be more apt for your activities
- In line with each daily theme, there will be a themed blog with links to information, relevant subject matter and CCPC video content on our landing page.
- We will also hope to provide links to information that is relevant to the daily theme that you and other partner organisations may wish to share.
- We will keep the landing page updated over the week with paragraphs summarising each partner organisations’ GMW initiatives.
- Our social media channels will support the CCPC GMW 2025 landing page with content linked to the daily themes.
- We will tag your organisation as appropriate during the week on our social media platforms, and we ask that you tag the CCPC.
- The official hashtags of GMW2025 are #GlobalMoneyWeek2025 #GMW2025.
- For the theme, this year you can use #ThinkBeforeYouFollow #WiseMoneyTomorrow and for GMW slogan #LearnSaveEarn.
- Further Global Money Week Resources – including Toolkits, Branding Guidelines, and Logos and Designs – are available in the Resources section on the OECD/INFE Global Money Week website.
Your organisation may want to use Global Money Week branded materials (signs and T-shirts for example) to share photo opportunities around your GMW activities on social media. - As GMW Coordinator, the CCPC is required to submit to the GMW secretariat pre and post campaign forms detailing GMW 2024 activities in Ireland.
We therefore invite you to share your plans before Global Money Week 2024 [please share with the CCPC before 16 February 2025]. You can do so by completing this short form. - The CCPC will keep partner organisations updated with national and international GMW events, launches and further relevant information in the lead up to, and during Global Money Week.
