The Student Enterprise Programme have launched a new Competition. As they explained:
“The Start-Up Stories Competition is a quick and easy micro enterprise competition for junior cycle students. The perfect project for a CBA and/or an introduction to the concept of student enterprise for your students.
Students get to imagine their life as an entrepreneur at a future stage of their life ā it can be in 5 years, 10 years or 40 yearsā time! In 500 words or less they should tell us the story of their fictitious entrepreneurial journey ā highlighting what they learned about being an entrepreneur on the way.
The enterprise the students imagine themselves setting up does not have to be based on an entirely new idea. It can be a shop, charity, restaurant, online business etc⦠anything they wish.
The idea behind this competition is to get your students to explore the life of an entrepreneur in a creative and imaginative way. By creating their own story they will learn about what it takes to set up and run a business and explore the concept of entrepreneurship.”
