JCT Business Studies are delighted to announce the launch of their brand new ‘Open for Business’ Podcast series. This series of Podcasts are available via SoundCloud, Spotify and wherever else you get your podcasts. The first two episodes now available.
Episode one features a conversation with Muriel Dolan, Deputy Head of Communications at the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC). In the episode, Muriel talks about how the CCPC in consultation with JCT Business Studies Team, has developed online resources to support teachers in the implementation of the Junior Cycle Business Studies Specification.
Episode two of the Podcast series features a conversation with Caroline McHale of the Student Enterprise Programme and Caroline speaks about the scale and success of the Programme and about new additions to the Programme to support teachers and students. The episode also features Business Studies teacher, Sinead Brady and one of her students, Sean as they discuss their experience of the Student Enterprise Programme.
There will be more episodes in the series including panel discussions on topics such as Focus on CBA1, Focus on CBA2, Learning Intentions & Success Criteria, Sustainability, Financial Justice, Effective Questioning, Student Voice, and lots more.
