Students experienced disrupted periods of learning in 2020 and 2021 because of school closures introduced to curtail the Covid 19 pandemic. Despite the best efforts of teachers and schools to mitigate the effects of disrupted schooling, the learning experience of students varied.
In this context, revised assessment arrangements that were introduced for the year 2023/24 will remain in place for students in third year in the school year 2024/25.
