For the attention of all of 3rd, 4th and 5th year students.
The Graduate.ie online citizenship & democracy programme will re commence on Monday September 18th and will run for 10 weeks during this academic term.
The programme will resume again after the Christmas holidays and will run for a further 10 weeks.
There are 24 free educational trips to Strasbourg to be won, which will include one full day at the European Parliament, where students will take part in a youth parliament(Euroscola), with students from across EU member states.
They will be accompanied by 3 garda vetted teacher supervisors during their trip.
There is absolutely no charge to enter this weekly competition, as all prizes are funded by government, local government and EU sponsors.
To enter, just logon to www.graduate.ie and register.
Each week students will be given access to a different set of questions from the various government, local government and EU sponsors.
Links will be provided to the location on the sponsors websites, where they can research the correct answers, which they then submit to www.graduate.ie
Computer will randomly select weekly winners from all the correct entries, throughout the duration of the programme.
Topics
The weekly topics will include, democracy & participation, environment & waste management, health & wellbeing, financial literacy, careers, health & safety, consumer protection, tourism, etc.
